At IT Literate.co.uk we make every effort to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act. Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your CV and other information stored about you while using the site.

You can remove any of the information that ITLiterate.co.uk records about you, whenever you like, by logging in to “My Profile”' and selecting the “close account”.

Registration details

Contact details you supply as part of the registration process are stored by IT Literate and will not be passed on to any 3rd party at anytime.

Profile and CV information

When you complete your ITliterate.co.uk profile, including your CV, it can be made available for searching, viewing over the Internet and downloading by any direct employer other person from within the organisation who requests CVs matching your profile to be sent to them. itliterate.co.uk does not verify the identity or the nature of the business of such organisations.

When you 'apply online', we store some information about you in your 'my Profile' area, but it is protected by your password and may only be accessed by you. It does not form part of our ITliterate.co.uk candidate database and cannot be searched or accessed by ITliterate.co.uk customers. You can delete your “my Profile” account at any time. Your CV can only be viewed by an ITliterate.co.uk customer, if you have consented to this within the profile section.

If you choose to create a profile and upload a CV to our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact details have changed.

Please note that Itliterate.co.uk reserves the right to remove any CV from our database, CVs which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive.

Security

All payment transactions take place on RBS World Pay using the industry-standard encryption protocol known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to keep all of your order, billing, and shipping information secure.

Should any unauthorized charges appear on your credit card as a result of shopping on our website, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Statistical Information

We will provide aggregate statistical information about site visits and users to organisations looking to work with ITLiterate Ltd (eg: The number of CVs currently on the database, or the number of visits to the site) and to be compliant with the law & regulations associated to any online company. We provide this information to customers, advertisers, suppliers and other reputable third parties. The information provided and mentioned above does not included any private information with regards any individual.
